Detailed Services

House of Eli provides a residential environment with an immersive, instructional program located in Sherman, Texas for young men (aged 18-22) who have been system-involved, previously incarcerated, homeless, or aging out of foster care. In addition to providing safe housing and basic needs, we provide trauma-based therapy and counseling, vocational training, GED and higher education opportunities, supportive care, daily living instruction, and recovery-focused skills development. The mission of our 12-to-18-month program is for graduates to not only avoid lives of repeated incarceration and poverty, but to find jobs and become self-sustaining adults. We are also an ongoing resource to other at-risk youth not in our program by connecting them with other channels of help and providing immediate support.
